You are considered self-employed and as such no deductions will be made from your invoice. You are responsible for declaring all your earnings for income tax and HST (if applicable to you).
Provide clinic with an invoice for your work hours including billing and payment information.
You are responsible for your professional actions.
Always arrive 15 minutes early, wear a clean uniform with closed shoes, have a positive attitude, and remember, you are a guest at the clinic.
Do not disclose your hourly wage to other employees at clinics.
Once you accept temporary job placement it is your responsibility to show up. Any last-minute cancelation will be recorded on your account and will reflect on future job opportunities.
Notify Dental Placement Services if a clinic communicates directly with you for any future job placements.
You cannot offer your services directly to dental clinics without letting Dental Placement Services know.
You must always go through the Dental Placement Services, or your account will be terminated.
Client Dental Placement Policy and Payment Fee Agreement:
At Dental Placement Services we believe in being easy to do business with. Our dental placement policy and agreement are very straight forward but should you have any questions, please ask, we are here to meet your needs.
Temporary Job Placements
A flat fee is charged for each day or part thereof. The amount is $45.00 plus HST for a dental assistant, steri worker or receptionist and $50.00 plus HST for a hygienist. Placement fees for associate dentists and locums are available on request.
Each temporary contractor will provide you with an invoice at the end of his/her shift which will note the hours worked, the hourly rate they charge and their payment information.
Full-Time and Part-Time Permanent, and Contract Positions
When a client requires a new staff member to fill a permanent or short term vacancy on their team, Dental Placement Services will offer this position to our candidates.
We will submit interested job candidates resumes and references for your consideration. And assist with arrangement of working interview and in person interview.
The client’s acceptance of resumes for potential job candidates constitutes responsibility to pay our placement fees when our candidates are hired.
If a working interview is arranged it will be charged at our temporary placement fee rate for each candidate interviewed. If a candidate is hired after the working interview, this fee will be discounted from our Hire fee of $550.00 plus HST.
Placement fee – placement fees are due payable in full upon receipt of our invoice
Working interview fees are due payable in full upon receipt of our invoice.
